Los Angeles witnessed widespread celebrations after the Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-match World Series title. Supporters worldwide joined local residents in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has achieved back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many carrying homemade signs and team flags. The team was seen riding high on a open-top bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
