The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in a California Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the parent company of Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.
The renowned game designer passed away following his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday, US media outlets report.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts said.
